Otisco Studios LLC is an indie game development studio based in Orlando, Florida. Comprised of eleven passionate artists and programmers, the team is dedicated to crafting innovative next-generation 3D games for both educational and entertainment purposes. Our mission is to take bold, creative, and innovative steps that propel the gaming industry forward, aiming to stand out and push boundaries in a market they feel has become stagnant. Our flagship project, “Ascendants,” is a multiplayer first-person shooter set in 2099, featuring a unique art aesthetic of Solarpunk humans versus Cyberpunk androids, with dynamic maps that evolve based on player actions.

We push the boundaries of the gaming industry by utilizing state-of-the-art technology like Unreal Engine 5 and cutting-edge 3D art tools, aiming to elevate the standard of indie games to the next generation.

Beyond game development, we are also contributing to the 3D art community, providing services for commercials, movies, shows, and visual novels. This expansion allows us to offer high-quality 3D art and programming services to studios, companies, and individuals in need. By taking on client contractual work, we maximize our revenue to support the growth of our in-house projects, such as Ascendants and O2xygen. We are committed to meeting future client needs while refining our craft to create the next wave of groundbreaking games and experiences.

The Founder’s Journey – Reigniting the Spirit of Gaming

The story behind Otisco Studios begins with a simple yet profound love for video games. From my very first experience with Pokemon Red on the Game Boy Advance, I was hooked. That early spark of curiosity faded over time, but it reignited with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The community, the endless replayability of multiplayer, and the joy of sharing those moments with friends became something I couldn’t get enough of. There was a simplicity to those games—they were designed with one goal: to maximize fun. It wasn’t about flashy marketing or pushing microtransactions; it was about providing players with an experience they could get lost in, together.

Gaming was, at its core, about social connections, competition, and enjoyment. We’d spend countless nights playing, not because we had to, but because we loved it. However, over time, that spark began to fade as the industry shifted towards money-driven tactics—paid DLC, loot boxes, paid cosmetics, and unfinished games—seemingly sacrificing the essence of gaming for profit.
